SKIN ITCHING IN DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE BODY AFTER BATHING

The feeling of itching in various parts of the body after bathing is a condition that affects many but not all who know its source.

According to dermatologists, the following are the most common causes of burns after bathing.

Dryness or Xerosis affects people of all ages but is more common among the elderly.

This condition occurs when your skin is dehydrated.  This is after bathing with hot water or using soaps that dry the skin.

Dry skin can also be due to a lack of vitamins A and B in the body.

The soap you use may also contribute to inflammation if the chemicals used are harsh on your skin.

To deal with this situation, dermatologists recommend that you apply a moisturizing lotion to your skin shortly after bathing.  Do not wipe with a towel but apply a lotion while still having fluids.

You can also try different soaps to determine which soap is not too harsh for your body.

Eating plenty of vegetables and fruits will also help you get the necessary vitamins in the body that will help you cope with this condition.
