Typically, the appendix is the end part of large intestine which resemble like your last hand's finger,thus why another name of Appendix is abdominal finger.

Usually after food digested and digestion continues, there are some food solutions that pass through this part of appendix.

Now if food passes through this part mix with small hard objects such as; sand etc, these particles can’t pass here, so they pile up here every day when you eat food mixed with these hard particles.

This condition progresses to the point where the abdominal finger or appendix clogs up as well as inflammation and the person begins to experience severe pain. This is where the source of appendix problem begins.

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF APPENDICITIS INCLUDES;

- Severe abdominal pain at the level of your navel towards the right side

- The body temperature rises (fever)

- Nausea and vomiting

- The patient suffers from frequent gastric emptying Like gastric Gas

there are some tests that can be done like blood tests, ultrasound, Ct Scan etc

The patient may be examined for symptoms, a history of the disease as well as a hand-to-hand examination performed by a health professional or doctor.

APPENDICITIS TREATMENT

- Treatment of appendicitis involves the use of various medications in the early stages of the disease, but if the problem persists the patient will undergo surgery and remove the abdominal finger(appendix).
